Do Hard Things

Dec 22, 2021

In this episode I have a great conversation with Jeffrey Harris. Jeff was diagnosed with Achalasia on Dec 25, 2018 and did not eat solid food again until Dec 25, 2019. He endured 365 days of living on protein shakes and sleeping in a chair while serving as a CEO and doing many endurance events.

When it comes to self-discipline and enduring hard things, he has learned some lessons and openly shares. Jeff is a US Marine Veteran, rare disease survivor, and elite athlete.  Jeff is currently working as an Executive and Chief Revenue Officer for Order My Gear.

Current Pursuits:

  • Writing a book about the lessons I've learned while battling a rare disease on resilience, grit, perseverance, mindset, patience, and fortitude.
  • Motivational Speaking
  • Growing my consulting business.
  • Serving as a mentor to others suffering from rare diseases and cancer.
  • Climbing all of Colorado's 14,000 ft peaks.
  • Sub 30 minute Murph with a 20 lb vest (delayed this year due to calf injuries...but so close!!)
  • Ultra running.
